John Reuther is the Founder and Managing Director of JRCM Commercial Joinery.

 

John’s career began at the young age of fifteen when he started his apprenticeship with CC Tape and Sons on the Yorke Peninsula. After learning his craft over five years, he relocated to Adelaide, where he joined the Adelaide University Joinery department. Here, he played a key role in the production and installation of bespoke joinery for a range of university facilities and projects.

 

When the university decided to outsource its joinery work, John identified a business opportunity. In response, he established his own company, John Reuther Cabinet Makers. His business thrived, particularly in the hospitality industry, providing custom joinery in hotels.

 

As his reputation in the joinery industry grew, John began collaborating with local and national builders, further establishing the business name. He took on significant interstate and high-profile state projects, including the Shepparton Law Courts in Victoria, Adelaide Oval, Her Majesty's Theatre Adelaide, and Sky City Adelaide. These projects showcased his ability to deliver exceptional quality and craftsmanship, solidifying his standing in the industry.

 

In 2020, John marked a significant milestone in his journey by rebranding his company to JRCM Commercial Joinery. This strategic rebrand signalled not only an expansion of services but also a commitment to handling larger and more complex projects.
